Human/Kind Journal is a new monthly online literary journal “of Japanese short-forms and art that examines and reflects on the human experience, social structures, injustices, culture, current events, and history. In a world fraught with division, we’ve created this space to focus on our commonalities as humans and embrace our differences as individuals.” They are currently open for submissions of visual found poetry for their first special issue with the theme of humanity/human nature. They are seeking poems in a visual format “this could be erasure, blackouts, digital art, collage, multimedia, embroidery, words on popsicle sticks, pasted over one of your kid’s crayon drawings, etc.”
