46 International lit mags seeking submissions of poetry, prose, and art

Why limit yourself to being published in lit mags in the U.S., Canada, or the U.K? There are many countries with English-language lit mags you can also submit your work to. For example, my poem “My Monkey Grammarian” was published in Hong Kong and even included in a review; and my poem “Ode to a Young Screech Owl” published by Moment Poetry in Slovakia.

This updated list (December 2025) focuses on no-fee poetry submissions, but most of these magazines also accept prose, art, and other creative forms. You’ll find opportunities from 20+ countries, including India, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, and beyond. Some even offer payment or contributor copies, while others provide unique themes and global perspectives.

Whether you’re a poet, fiction writer, essayist, or artist, this resource is designed to help you expand your reach and share your work internationally. Explore the list below, organized alphabetically, and discover new homes for your creative work..
