94 NO FEE poetry book publishers via Authors Publish + important tips on submitting your manuscript

It’s so important to do your homework before sending your manuscript to a publisher. Make sure to take notes for each publisher you research. You will most likely want to compare them to each other before deciding where you want to submit.

Read their guidelines carefully and find answers to important questions:

If you aren’t able to answer some of these questions by researching the publisher online, send them a polite, professional email with your questions. Most editors are happy to answer questions.

94 Poetry Manuscript Publishers Who Do Not Charge Reading Fees

Harstone includes a brief description of each publisher and a link to their web site. Make sure to read Emily’s note at the top about limited reading windows and the order of the list. Also, if you know of any others that should be included, send them to support@authorspublish.com.

This is the longest and most accurate list of poetry manuscript publishers who do not charge fees for online or postal submissions. A number of the publishers on this list have at least one free reading period a year, where they will consider all the manuscripts submitted to them. Some of the publishers are open all the time. Some have a limited window that is only a month or two long.
