Amethyst Arsenic is a paying, online publisher and is a project of ELJ Publications. Issues include poetry, fiction, art, and music. You can read past issues online here. This current call for submissions is for poetry only and the reading period runs from during the month of April.

Amethyst Arsenic is open to all forms of poetry. Within this broad scope, we have a preference for well-crafted imagery that brings a fresh use of language and perception. We also lean towards vignettes, moments, stories and meditations on people, objects, and scenes; the intimate whether confessional or persona, versus broad commentary.
