Blue Monday has a great submission guidelines page that describes what they are looking for, submission formatting and other details, as well as specifics for each genre: visual art, fiction & creative nonfiction, poetry, and other.

PAYMENT: Besides the eyeballs on your work that will hopefully pay dividends in the future, contributors whose work is selected receive an honorarium of $10, along with one free contributor's copy. We reserve one-time rights and all rights revert back to the author upon publication.
