It’s always amazing to have a found poem accepted for publication! My poem “Just a pocket memory,” an erasure poem from Rob Carney’s "Just Once I'd Like to Sneak Up on the Wind" (Story Problems, Somondoco Press) is included in issue five of Sonic Boom.

Sonic Boom is a literary & arts journal that seeks both solicited and unsolicited experimental poetry, flash fiction, and visual art submissions tri-annually. We hope to integrate multifarious genres of literature and artwork including Japanese short-forms of poetry, avant-garde, conceptual, and postmodern works of culture and art.

Their fifth issue does not disappoint–filled with a wide variety of poetry forms, a section specifically for short-form poetry entitled “Paper Lanterns,” several fiction pieces, an interview with poet, writer, professor, and translator, K. Srilata, and pages and pages of gorgeous visual art (ohhh, look at that cover art by Kyle Hemmings).

Their next reading period is in June 2016. They will be accepting experimental poetry, Japanese short-forms, flash fiction, and visual art. There are no fees to submit previously unpublished work (personal blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc. do not count as previously published).
