My poem “Uprooted” 2021 Jack Grapes Poetry Prize Finalist selected by Judge Mariano Zaro

I’m honored to announce my poem “Uprooted” was a Jack Grapes Poetry Prize Finalist, including a cash prize! This exceptional contest is described by by Poetry Editor Alexis Rhone Fancher as being “named after poet and teacher Jack Grapes, whose work, encouragement, publishing activities, and overall spirit have inspired thousands of poets.” Judges Clare MacQueen, Mariano Zaro, and Alexis Rhone Fancher selected a winner and three finalists each. Incredible congratulations to the selected winners!
