The kind and helpful folks at Winning Writers are happy to announce the publications of their subscribers in each free email newsletter. This month’s includes the announcement of my chapbook Footnote and features one of the poems included, “Reconstructed Happiness,” which is a found poem from Lawrence Ferlinghetti’s “I am Waiting.” To create the poem, I reversed all the lines in Ferlinghetti’s poem and then used erasure to take out words and phrases, leaving only what was needed for my poem.
