This list of poetic forms compiled by Robert Lee Brewer of Writer’s Digest includes links to each of his articles for each of the forms. Each article includes the requirements of the form, as well as examples, other related links, and definitions when needed. I also like Brewer’s suggestion that “It might even make a good year-long challenge to write one form each week of the year.” Check out his complete list below.

Excellent! I’ve been looking to get more variety into my writing. Sounds like a great resource to try.
Do you have any favorite resources for writing prompts? I’d love to hear your recommendations.
Did you read, One Year, One Hundred Rejections by Brett Elizabeth Jenkins on WD?http://www.writersdigest.com/whats-new/one-year-one-hundred-rejections-brett-elizabeth-jenkins
I don’t think I’ll accumulate that many as I don’t send off enough submissions, but I do think it is an interesting way to keep writing and submitting.
Not sure, I’ll have to go check it out!
