Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo is a “grammatically correct sentence & literary journal.” They are currently open to no fee submissions previously unpublished poems. HOPKINSON: Tell me a little bit about Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo. 

LOGAN: Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo is a literary journal for the poetically-inclined.

HOPKINSON: How/why was Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo originally started? 

LOGAN: I started the journal because I couldn’t shake the lit pub bug. The previous year I handed off my press, only to have it regifted to me. That left a sour taste in my mouth for sure, but after some time, I realized I still wanted to be involved in the publishing side of things, albeit in an (even smaller) capacity.

HOPKINSON: What type of work are you looking for? 

LOGAN: Any and all poetry (that’s not homophobic, promotes violence against others, etc.) is welcome with one special caveat. Because I’m working within the confines of Tumblr, poems that do creative things with the page / spacing, I cannot accept simply because I can’t accurately represent the poet’s vision on the page. Don’t get me wrong: I love poems that do this, but the constraints of Tumblr prevent me from publishing these types of poems.

HOPKINSON: What are some of your favorite lit mags/journals?

LOGAN: I know I’m going to forget some, but a bite-size list would include: bedfellows, Dream Pop Journal, The Indianapolis Review, the tiny, and Whale Road Review.
