TrishHopkinson.com Reboot: poetry, community & inspiration

Hello, readers and fellow poets—

It’s been a minute.

After a period of reflection and behind-the-scenes creative work, I’m thrilled to announce that TrishHopkinson.com is officially back in action—with new posts, regular updates, and the same commitment to supporting poets and literary artists that this space has always stood for.

Over the years, this site has grown into a vibrant hub for submission calls, editor interviews, guest posts, and resources for writers and poets of all backgrounds. Whether you’re here for the latest no-fee opportunities, themed calls, or just a dose of poetic inspiration, I’m excited to reconnect and keep the momentum going.

If you’re an email subscriber, you may have noticed you haven’t received any updates in several months. There was an issue with my previous host that disconnected my subscriptions from any updates, but that has now been resolved. If you’re not yet a subscriber and you’re seeing this elsewhere, enter your email in the Subscribe box and make sure not to miss an update!

What to Expect

  • Weekly Posts featuring submission calls, interviews, and guest essays
  • Spotlights on lit mags, journals, and small presses doing amazing work
  • Community engagement through comments, shares, and collaborations

If you’ve been following along, you know I’m passionate about amplifying voices—especially those from marginalized communities—and making the literary world more accessible to help you reach your poetry goals, whatever those are for you. If you’re affiliated with a literary magazine, journal, or other poetry project publishing a wide variety of poets/writers, contact me for more information on how to be included in a future post or list.

So whether you’re a longtime reader or just discovering the blog, welcome (back)! Let’s make poetry happen—together.

With gratitude,

Trish Hopkinson

However, when I clicked on “Comment,” it took me to your website, where “Start Here” tab is located on the top.
    Thanks for reconnecting.
