“Quaint Magazine is a literary quarterly that publishes dynamic, arresting, and transgressive poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction by female and gender non-binary writers. Accordingly, we are trans inclusive. We are strongly committed to publishing work from traditionally marginalized writers, giving voice to the strange, the weird, and the unsettling.”
This cutting-edge lit mag provides a wide variety of forms to its readers, from flash fiction to visual poetry. They are currently accepting submissions for their next issue. You can download the previous four issues on their site here. Each issue includes interesting and unexpected cover art, notes from the editors, and the intriguing and well-crafted words of the literary contributors. You can read more about their beginnings in this interview published by Room: "Broetry", The Gender Gap, and Women-Only Spaces: An Interview with Quaint Magazine.

Quaint Magazine submission guidelines
DEADLINE: Rolling submissions, currently open
SUBMISSION FEE: None
FORMS: fiction, flash fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, visual poetry, cover artwork
PAYMENT: “Although we’re a small non-profit magazine (and thus cannot afford to lavish riches upon you), we’d like to do the equivalent of buying you a beer/coffee/shot/soda/beverage of your choice. Payment rates are the same regardless of what you submit (because we don’t believe word count contributes to quality of work). Writers published in our magazine’s digital editions will receive $6 per accepted piece, payable by PayPal.”
