Found Poetry

Honored to be Writer of the Month on Drunk Monkeys, second poem up "Crevasse Moon"

I’m honored and thrilled to be featured as Writer of the Month on Drunk Monkeys in November 2015. They will be posting four of my poems throughout the month. First up was my Janis Joplin inspired poem “Pearl at the Studio Mic.”
Second up, posted today, is “crevasse moon” which is a found poem from the obituaries in my local paper. The poem was found by an Oulipo applying a restriction often referred to as "Prisoner's Constraint" using only words with letters which don't extend above or below the line (b, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, p, q, t, and y).
