Zoetic Press currently has 6 submission calls open! Plus, they are looking for a volunteer associate editor. Lots of great stuff happening with this press. Their huge variety of calls are for both poetry, prose, reviews, art AND are for individual pieces OR full-length manuscripts! Plus, their editors are the amazing people.

Zoetic Press is dedicated to the notion that narrative must continue to thrive, even as technology changes. Humans are hardwired to tell stories, and as our technical sophistication evolves, the stories we can tell are evolving. Zoetic Press is dedicated to searching out the best in electronic and interactive narrative and bringing it to the widest possible audience.

DETAILS: “Send us a a few paragraphs about your experience in editing and why you’d like to be part of Zoetic Press. Even if you have ZERO experience, we welcome your words–after all, how do you GET experience if no one is willing to let you get a foot in the door?
This is a low time commitment, unpaid position, but it IS a time commitment, and it does pay you in experience, camaraderie, and literary pride.”

  1. I saw this and would like to send a query about a full length ekphrastic manuscript I have done, a collaboration with visual artists. It is 87 page and has about 38 plates. Some of the art is reduced in size and on the same page as the poems. Some is not.
    Currently, the manuscript is in Word or PDF (I have it in both formats), but I am open to a publisher who would turn it into an app or enhanced ebook.
    I will send a sample if this is something the company is interested in pursuing.
