Call for Submissions

My collaboration poem “Three atheists and a Mormon walk into a café” published in Crab Fat’s atheist issue + they are open for submissions!

This is my first collaboration poem to be published! Bonnie Shiffler-Olsen and I set to writing this piece together. You can read more of Shiffler-Olsen’s poetry in Quarterly West and Rust + Moth.

We’re honored to have “Three atheists and a Mormon walk into a café” published in the special Atheist issue of Crab Fat MagazineCrab Fat publishes monthly, including a best of anthology every year in June. Their Atheist issue is an intriguing variety of art, poetry, and short prose. Just enough reading to go with a couple of cups of coffee in the morning.

“Crab Fat Magazine is founded on the principles of inclusive & diverse writing/publishing. This means we actively seek work from marginalized people. Please submit to us if you are a POC, a queer/trans person, a disabled person, a woman/femme/nonbinary person, a neurodivergent person, a trauma survivor, a nonreligious/atheist/pagan person, or any other person that is often underrepresented in media.  We want to make space for you. We want  to hear your voice.”
