I’m pleased to announce, not only have I joined the board for the International Women’s Writing Guild, but I’ll also be presenting a session for their summer conference Writing Your Way Forward on Friday, July 23 at 1pm Eastern Time on how to choose publications for your poetry. Registration is reasonable for a three-day event full of resources for writers and poets! You can get detailed information about the event lineup here including keynotes, multiple workshops on revision, agent pitch sessions, marketing and visibility, even an intro to poetry and graphic narrative.

My session topic provides methods to help whittle down the wide variety of publications along with categorized lists and other tips. The panel includes plenty of time for live Q&A, so bring your specific questions about submitting!
